WHO WE ARE
The Big Picture
I am so excited that you are interested in learning more about who we are as a faith community. The Boulevard Church is passionately pursuing who God is calling us to be as individuals and as a faith community. Maybe you are reading this because God is calling you to help shape who we are—as a faith community who serves each other and the world.
We are a place where people are encouraged to bring all themselves and to be open to how God wants to shape them! I want you to know that you are loved. We all need a community to remind us of that truth, so let us be the community that reminds you that you are loved by God, the creator of all things, and by the BLVD Church.

MISSION
Discovering God’s love with our neighbors!

BLVD Church exists to seek God and God’s love in community with those around us. God’s love is deep and wide, so we believe that no matter your previous experiences, we all have something to discover and learn. Journeying together is one of the main ways that we can reach this goal. As a young multicultural and multiethnic church in Holland, Michigan, we strive to create a space where people of all races and ages are encouraged and empowered to live out their God-given gifts. We strive to have a leadership team that reflects the diverse Holland, Michigan community around us, and we hope that you will join us as well.

VALUES
At the BLVD, our mission is discovering God's love with our neighbors. We do that through our three values: Gather, Grow, and Give
WHY

Through a demographic study tool called Mission Insite, we were able to discover that there are only 4 out of 10 people within a three-mile radius from our home are engaged with a Christian community. 6 out of 10 are not engaged with a church at all.

• Holland public schools are 70% people of color. Most of these students are English speaking Latinos. There are no churches in the greater Holland area that have leadership to represents this demographic.

• Studies show that a non-believer or a Christian who does not attend church is more likely to attend church at a new church plant.

• Holland is a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural city that will continue to grow in its diversity, it is only natural for a church to be created to adapt to our city’s changing demographics.

VISION

We are discovering God’s love together as a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural faith community. We do this through doing life together in life groups, being committed to being a disciple and making disciples, and by living generously with our time and gifts. We believe God has called us to replicate this vision wherever God calls us to live and be.

Holland, come be apart of our vision. Discover God's love for you.
