BLVD Youth

Our youth ministry is for all students in middle and high school. We create a space on Sunday mornings during worship for students to encounter God and learn how to be more like Jesus in a relevant and applicable way. 

Students will be released at the end of the first worship set, and will be sent back to church from Nuestra Casa once service ends. Parents can expect for their kids to walk back themselves, and meet them by the front doors of church. 

Our programming takes place during church on Sunday mornings during the 2nd service at 10:45 AM. As a collective group, we walk over to Nuestra Casa which is across the street, and 3 doors down to the west. 

We exist so that students in our church and community may discover God’s love with their neighbors, and grow into a deeper relationship with their creator. Our goal is to share the gospel with all middle and high school students in Holland so that they can experience the love of God, and eagerly share it with their friends. We want to see the students in our community learn to love and live as Jesus did. 

 Through intentional, relational discipleship we will be empowering students in our ministry to continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus. We want them to be so excited about what Jesus is doing in and around them that they share their faith with their friends. 

• Students can choose to worship in the sanctuary for the first song set with other students and the leaders, or their parents.
• At dismissal, we will walk together to Nuestra Casa 
• Students will participate in some kind of game / team building activity 
• Weekly check in questions to gauge how the student is doing during the week
• Read scripture 
• Engage in conversation that pertains to what we have read 
• Discuss a biblical meaning and life application 
• Call to action 
• Prayer
• Dismissal back to BLVD Church
